So that means, we now speak a little spannish!
Barbra and I managed to find a private spanish teacher after much effort. Most of the schools wanted to charge us for a whole week while we wanted to only do a few days. We managed to find a list of private teachers but when we rang them up they only spoke spanish so it was a bit hard to organise! The hotel reception was very helpful so we set somthing up for Monday afternoon and yesterday morning.
Ivan, our teacher, was great. He spoke good english and it turned out we had been talking to his grandmother or someone. He had sheets photocopied from a workbook and it all went really well. It was good because he gave us some basic grammar that was missing from the phrase book. So we can not string together basic sentances if we think about it hard enough and look up the words in our mini dictionary.
The only problem is when people reply to us!
